About pano.chi

HCI researchers around the world are holding virtual and hybrid events in parallel to CHI ’25, gathered under the umbrella term pano.chi (i.e., panoramic CHI events).

para.chi events run parallel to the CHI conference, taking place at the same time but elsewhere. Most para.chi events are held locally in-person or online, or both (i.e., hybrid).

Pre-CHI events happen before CHI, to share accepted work in advance and provide a way for students and early career researchers to practice before the main event.

Unconferences are informal and flexible alternatives to formal meetings. We’ll accept CHI-related ones.
